I bought a bunch when I first got my PC up and running and started playing, and I've bought more with Ascension and Wreckage. I really dig the custom uppers.

Plus all the money goes straight to making the game in one way or another, and that is great.

Callous though it may seem, and although I would be prepared to spend approx. £20 on a full purchase of Hawken; if a game says it is free to play then I will always play it for free. Once I am bored of it, or am too busy to play it much, I will be able to move on to another game, having lost nothing.

I don't ever buy any in-game credits for games because then I will never spend it.  I still have the like 400MC i got for playing one hour.

I simply have to make the decision on whether I want to eat and live in a home or pay for a video game, so I choose to have a house.

I do really like the game therfore I buy Metoer money not only tune my mech but also support this mech game...and hoop for more contant in the future

I have spent many dollars over the last couple of years but am currently holding off spending any more until I see where the games going.
I find a lot of what's in the shop a bit  simplistic the emblems are a good example.
-What I would be prepared to pay( a fair bit) for now is a utility that lets me paint my Mechs my way(subject to decency constraints)
-A utility which allows me to customise my HUD

Such good games deserve investiment. I dont think twice when I found a game like Hawken.

Spent just a few bucks when there was that discount, I'm currently not rich and I need to spend my money wisely, but I think it was worth it, I'm kinda addicted to this game..

I don't like the MC option and I hate it when games get too p2w but the mc dont seem to give any huge advantage game-wise. as long as it stays that way. Plus i feel that supporting the devs of a game i like is not bad. Theres a fine line between reasonable microtransactions and p2w so i hope hawken team treads it right.

edit: spent $30 total for the prosk pack and some extra mc for vanity

I bought the Prosk starter package, I found it more useful than buying MCs (though buying awesome cosmetics for my fav mech was rather tempting), but that does count for supporting the Devs right_ Later on, I might try to spend more for MCs at some point.

haven't bought MC yet and don't know if i ever will. i don't need that cosmetic stuff and when i payed for a f2p-game it was a disappointment in the end because some things in the game changed so that the game wasn't fun anymore

It's not that the credits arn't worth it, I just don't want to support the direction that the game has taken thus far.

I did, to unlock stuff early.  Also considering buying some camos and what not just to support the game.  I play quite a bit, and I know servers and bandwidth aren't free.  Kind of curious how they can sustain the game long term.  Wish there was a subscription that just gives me some MC every month or something.  I want this game to stick around.
