Attention pilots!

HAWKEN services will be unavailable on 12/12/13 at 10:00 a.m. PST (GMT-8) as we deploy a minor update.

We expect to have all services returned to normal by 2:00 p.m. PST.

***UPDATE***

The update is going to be delayed. We're using a new method for creating and deploying the patch and a 3rd party we are working with is encountering an error. We're working closely with them to resolve the issue but do not have an ETA at the moment.

We'll provide additional information as it becomes available. Thanks for your patience!

***UPDATE 2***

The problem has been solved! Since it's already late in the day for us and supporting the update is difficult after hours, we have decided to reschedule the patch for tomorrow morning. The date and time in this thread have been updated to represent the new schedule.

We're taking a little extra time to ensure game servers are brought up correctly and to perform a small stress test. We expect the work to be complete by 4pm PST.

No offense, but 4:00 pm PST will probably turn into like 6:00 pm PST with accompanying server problems.  I can always hope for the better though...

Yes, the last two patches are indicative of (hopefully sustainable) patching improvement, but Hawken has had a history of post-patch problems. Again, I hope for the best but expect the not-the-best. I pray I'll be pleasantly surprised, as I have been for the last two patches.

I can understand hoping for the best and expecting the worst, but being negative to people doesn't help anything.

I dont agree with removing the HC reward entirely,  should have just been lowered..

Now the awards have little value.
100xp is a bit low... what is that going to do for a lvl30 player that unlocks say "kill 100 scouts"... it has become useless ... you reach lvl30 before you get all the awards. . Does the 100xp get applied to your mech also_ Or just player xp_

If it dosent then they have completely ruined the awards system imo. As all the awards are useless as they dont do anything..  ill say it again... you cant use the xp u get_ Y get it at all_

That is my quiestion exactly. I downloaded and installed the patch and the game servers are off line again. Wait! Didn't this happen with the last update too_!
