Greetings pilots,

As many of you are aware we've been experiencing issues with the Friends List. This is the result of corruption in our Friends database.

We're currently working to restore the data that was lost, but in the meantime we encourage our players to go ahead and begin to re-add their missing friends.

***UPDATE***

The database is being carefully reconstructed and we are estimating a restoration rolled on Thursday of this week. We are doing what we can to restore 100% of its original content. Thanks again for your patience with this matter.

We have identified the problem and have begun our work to restore as much lost data as possible. Unfortunately, we will most likely only be able to restore friends that were added after July of last year. Any friends added prior to this time may not be fully recovered.

As you know, we have been performing major work on our services in order to improve online stability. Whenever work of this magnitude takes place, there is risk involved. We do everything we can to avoid events like this and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

We will be conducting a test for the friends list repair this evening and move forward with a full repair Friday assuming there are no further complications. As mentioned above, we will most likely only be able to restore friends that were added after July of last year. Thanks for your continued patience as we work through this problem.

There are other problems as well. I can not add friends because the system is offline. Based on what the support wrote me, it seems like the Amazon DNS record in question is not up to date.

Lol that's to much trouble refinding people. I left my back-up spreadsheet of my friends in my other mech and unfortunately some jerk blew it up.

I have 600+ frnds .. it will be easy to recover ... most of em didn't log in since ascension so no nee to re add them.

Well, only about 20 of my ~100 friends are playing these days anyways ... the rest dislikes the current Hawken or switched to MWO. xD
