I like the 'Steel Techno City' themed--Prosk, Origin, Uptown--but I enjoy the desert. The layout forces users to turn simplistic map features into usable cover, and to flank and ambush utilizing enemy distraction or at the least, inattention out of their own cockpits. It's very "plain Jane"-ism can make it more difficult in some matches due to this. On a similar vein, Facility would be my second fave. Fix last Eco. Nice map, enragingly frustrating layout.
I could just say I love 'em all, except for Wreckage--I don't dislike it, it just endlessly annoys me until the match is over.

Origin, Wreckage, Bunker, Facility, in that order. I can't stand Last Eco, but the rest of the maps are solid and, whilst not my favourites, are still extremely fun to play.

I like Facility it looks simple yet its so sophisticated. Great map for almost all mechs.

Origin is the one I know the best, but I think the Prosk map is frikkin awesome!

Isn't there an explore mode_ Oh ya but it isn't offline. There is nothing you can do in HAWKEN offline except watch the trailer, the company logos, see a couple of engineers do repetitive tasks etc. I wanted something offline like taking out a mech on a test drive in a map of my choice.



Back to the topic, I kinda know origin like the back of my hand but the downside being that it appears to be way too gloomy. Its dark! I don't like dark places much. But I still like it. I also like frontline and Last Eco which are bright places. Love IT!!

I almost chose wreckage, but bazar holds too many good memories from pre ascension. I remember me in my ss and my dad in his reaper almost won a game that was 5 verses the two of us.
