Ilal Maps and locations according to players

So where and what would people like to see new maps at/of_

I would love to have:
  • Coastal Island Map
  • Volcanic Map (maybe combine the two)
  • Mountain Map with a tunnel labyrinth inside and exterior mountain switchbacks and choke point bridges crisscorssing
  • A Polar Ice Map at a top secret facility
  • A top secret Ocean base floating in the middle of the sea.
  • Space Elevator/Port Map (maybe this is the ocean base)
  • Super Highway Map - An inter-coastal highway map for lots of run and gun strafing with bridge abutments for snipers and airdrops.  Make it a double decked highway for lower deck peek-a-boo tactics behind support pillars.
  • In general - night maps as alternates for all current maps with a random chance to be playing on a night map...or maybe depending on server time have a real-time day/night cycle.
    • Last Eco could be all lit up with bioluminescent moss and other flora (maybe glowing seeds floating in the air).
    • Bazaar could have some flood lights in market areas but largely be dark with starlit skies and the moon and its city visible in the sky.
    • Prosk would be a city at night...big HID lights spotting advertisement signs and the roadways lit by streetlamps that you knock out as you play.
    • Uptown would be a bizarre and foreboding place at night with orange high or low-pressure sodium lamps lighting the roadways and creating orangey sky-glow.
    • Wreckage would look like a construction site at night...brilliantly lit on the very edges but shadowy on the interior and dark in the tunnels.  Mechs should have headlamps at night but also be able to toggle them off.
    • Frontline should be the most cosmopolitan city at night
    • Origin should have the ground lit up with strange electronics and pulsing energy in some of the cracks to give it a feeling of being alive but also have a clear starlit sky with the moon above.
Environmental Effects I'd like to see:
  • Ash & pyroclastics as well as heat shimmering near lava (also increasing mech's heat retention as a game mechanic)
  • Ocean/Water Spray coating your mech's canopy while fighting in or around water
  • blizzard conditions reducing visibility...but a predator in cloak mode wold be unaffected since it has thermal vision (turrets also unimpeded as well as auto-lock hellfires) Cloaks however should be reduced in effectiveness due to snow physically impeding the cloak with a more visible shimmer...maybe a rainbow static look

FYI, Illal is supposed to be on a quarantine. They would have severed a space elevader.

so a decrepit/inactive space elevator.

Make it like wreckage, but more eerie feeling with a wider variety of lighting choices and no natural terrain.
