[Audible_Silence]

will a 4gig processor and AMD r7 run this game_ i kept reading the requirements getting raised and was worried i couldnt play it.

i def love space combat and have been keeping track of this game, but also getting kinda frustrated with how long it has been, granted i know games take a long time but it seems they keep reaching goals (which is great) and pushing back the dates of things.

I'm not sure, i'll let you know what everyone runs trrmw. I'm waiting to see if need to upgrade my video card. I'll keep you posted

Anvil hornet F7C+  was costly but the deal is not bad with what you get

Hey V, When it launches we can really figure out what kind of video card we need. I was running the hanger module with sli 660 ti's and it ran fine, but thats not dogfighting lol I'll let you know whats going on.

Someone said a gtx 680 to a 770 or 780 would max it out at ultra with no fps issues with fxaa and all other driver settings maxed out same with in game, But watch some youtube videos i seeon some run on a 560 maxing it out

I have no idea how this game works. I have to pledge $5, and buy a ship_

edit: Read the newbie reddit post, buying a ship gets me the game. Byt actual money to buy things in game, I have to pay for the game, I need to buy ship insurance, aaaaaaaaaand upgrade insurance if I mod my ship_ I really, really, really want to play this, but this might be a game I have to sit back to see how this all unfolds.

In all honesty, if you really aren't sure about the game, I would advise you to wait.

If you've seen all the stuff they have out now and you're still not sold, don't buy anything just yet. There's still the arena commander they need to release (hopefully by monday), and if you watch the streams and what you see peaks your interest, that would be a good time to get into it.



(Arena commander is the second phase release of the game, which is very much a dogfighting sim with hawken-esque game modes like TDM. Third phase would be the persistent universe, which we're building Starwind for, but it won't be for a while yet. A long while.)

If/when you do decide to get into the game, Starwind will always remain open for your consideration, I can assure you.

This game promises very much, indeed.

Although ... weapons, combat, balancing.... there's much work to do there, IMHO. A lot of pending work to do to tell ya the truth...

So we got some really good guys so far for star citizen. Hopefully arena commander comes out monday!!! I picked up a avenger by the way guys!
