Everyone has more or less posted everything I like to do, but one thing I'd like to add is taking a scanner with you as a Pred really pays off, especially early on. You go off in a different direction from your team, find the general area of the enemy team and drop the scanner. Much more information and more "reliable" than calling enemy sighted. Gives you a bit more battlefield utility.

I really need to buy scrambler and scanner for my pred

toying with the idea of getting a heat gen to drop right next to a cluster of enemies, but this item seems kinda weak in practice. any thoughts_

I find that it's pretty easy to avoid. More useful for herding people.

Though apparently some walls are glitched in Bazaar and you can position it next to them to affect people on the other side. Useful for fuzzy bunny up SSs, Rocketeers and Reapers.
