What annoys me is that most of the people go for this mad, crazy mother hubbard for their character, making many of them unoriginal and kinda boring to read.

Be unique, create something new, not something everyone else got. It should be a logical and even thought Illal got a lot of mercs n` pirates it is more fun to read about a character which got more special threats. And this is why I (personally) find Aregon and Houruck to be so perfect, because they actually got a side in the war.

Seconded. Though rogues remain to have their place and time (whether overused or not). I agree, regardless: Originality was lost in some cases. (Maybe rebellion is just the nature of many_)

That is the problem.

Being a rebel nowadays is kinda pointless since everybody else are rebels too, making those who aren`t rebels the real rebels. Same thing goes with saying you are mad, crazy and special. Every mothertrucker out there says the same. I am unique here, as I am an "aggressive genius", often looked at as mad by others. I have never said I am crazy, but everyone else think I am.

In the meantime, can anybody explain the details of the war_ I got that there is a resource scarcity, and Sentium & Prosk are 2 manufacturers fighting for them, but is that all there is_ What about Dr. James Hawken_ What role does he play in the war_ Something about a nanovirus...

To avoid spoilers, and allow you to experience the feel-filled wonder of HAWK3N: Genesis, I would recommend waiting for it to arrive (it should effectively answer your questions, too).

When I received my copy and sat down to read it, I didn't leave that position until the very last page, if that's any hint that it was riveting. :]

(P.S., I think the Predator-invaded shopping center idea with the doctor has interesting possibilities... and a guarantee of many displeased shoppers scrambling about in hilariously frightened manner! )

Prosk Spokesman:  Predators in a shopping area_  Nonsense!  The air conditioners in the shopping center broke and their maintenance was overlooked!  The temperature that day was skyrocketing!
