It's interesting to see an O.S. "Pilot" in our ranks... or against them. Scary.

The Prosk Computer Development Division scouted the subject, hired him, and paid for his transport to Illal.

After Subject's Arrival on Illal:
------ Subject was provided housing in one of the employee districts. Exactly where he was housed is irrelevant. Subj*(yp8g9&PT giu ultglui T789po *( 8tyg89 py68 ;tyg* Fgy bfk *But*My*Childhood*Wasn't_*y890pg( *TYG8 ; -------------------------
Subject was initially hired on to assist in the development of hardware to support new analytical software that was being developed. This software was designed to be able to oversee major operations of Prosk's Development and Manufacturing divisions and alert when there was a problem and intervene before significant problems developed. Subject became very interested in the project and began working with the software development as well. This consumed most of the subject's time, meaning he did not have time to socialize, though that was never a high priority for him. Subject was working closely with the development lead and got what he and the rest of the team needed to complete the project. The subject worked heavily in the system's self maintenance of its own hardware, be it cooling, or reparing/replacing parts of itself. This display did not go unnoticed by others departments.
---- He was noticed by the HV Loader Development team, who needed someone who could help design and help program sophisticated on board computer systems. The team offered him a job that paid better, and would improve his cramped living situation. The subject reportedly said "Well, the system is largely done, at least my part, might be fun to work on something else." Subject was reportedly excited to work on the project after he found out they were using a cavorite-like substance to make them lighter and therefor more maneuverable. He was quickly demotivated once he learned that he was working to make weaponized variants of Heavy-Loaders. He learned all of the hardware of the equipment, partially because he was interested, and partially because his job required him to know enough for the computer to be able to make calculations for stability and make corrections, much like the analytical system he helped develop did. The first few models were eventually designed and tested. He was allowed to be trained and help test them.
---- A friend of his told him (though this friend was not authorized to divulge that information) that files from his previous project had been hacked, namely the main analytical core, as well as schematics for the processing architecture. The subject took it upon himself to trace the hack, something no one knew he was capable of. He eventually found the source of the hack, specifically, though our analysts (computer security analysts in the PSD) had found it at around the same time. He had found a way in but didn't have access to the processing needed, but the analysis system suited his needs perfectly (later when interviewed about this, he said it was "poetic justice that the system they attempted to steal would retrieve and destroy the information about it they stole.") He programmed and used the system to probe and analyze the security, and to attempt to decrypt much of the information he found there. After several hours after the machine had decrypted and helped determine the locations of the stolen files on their network, he found they had taken much more. Files on the system, cavorite, all of it. He destroyed it after retrieving it. He used the machine to find any networked backups and destroyed them as well (when interviewed subject stated that "There may have been copies on unnetworked parts of the system. It's what I would do." This may be how Sentium w809phy*()PY gh8 7itgOliytu ) When we (the PSD) found what he had done, and had time to investigate, we were impressed, and angry. He used property without permission, but as far as we could tell there was no damage to the system or largely to the security of the corporation. Some of the officials on the PSD wanted to hire him as a cyber security analyst (or Cyber Infiltration Analyst, fancy term for Hacker) Many were concerned that he would go off on his own like that, even though it was for a reasonable and productive end, because it meant he likely could not be easily controlled. Those concerns went unheeded when we moved him to the PSD (under the threat of being fired).
---- The subject worked to infiltrate Crion's information transit systems and the external communication systems. His work was exceptional, but he had complained several times of "being bored." One day he found a certain communication system, though it was a Crion communication system Sentium had commandeered. This system could only be infiltrated physically at the data repeater nodes, but those were guarded, not just by enemy patrols and automatic defenses, but also by a very complex firewall. The official he reported this to decided that the subject would be the best for the job of hacking, and since he already had the pre-requisite training to pilot a basic "AXE" he could be further trained in combat, in case it was necessary, and trained in combat analytics quickly. He went through training and tests and found that his combat and overall piloting skills after the training were somewhat higher than standard, and fit the needs of the mission. His combat and mission analytical skills however exceeded expectations. When the mission started he was placed in an A-Class with a Boot Chassis with some stealth systems built in (dubbed the "Infiltrator" by many pilots) The mission went smoothly until just before the subject started to hack the device. While they had quietly gotten rid of the nearest patrol, there was a detection system they didn't know about. It set off the security system on the wireless network used to access the node. The subject could not hack the node. He figured out that they had tripped the alarm and immediately used their radar equipment to scan for troops, another security patrol was en route. He informed the leader of the squad. The squad leader ordered jack to start the hacking process while they dealt with the patrol and scouted for additional mechs. The subject left the cockpit of his Infilitrator to find a hard access point. He hooked the computer he had fashioned for hacking (which was modified from the computer in the Infiltrator) and started the process after getting back into the cockpit. He heard on the radio that they were coming back, and he noticed that his hack was being actively fought against. He had found fuel tanks next to the communication repeater. Those tanks were outside because the inside was too hot for the tanks, so they were left outside to keep them cool, as they were obviously marked as volatile materials. These chemicals most likely powered a generator that kept the remote communications repeater powered. Though they were fighting back, he had gotten in and removed the remote access to the communication station. He retrieved what information was left on the station (which later proved useful) and just before he was done, the radar picked up a several signatures that were coming from a different direction than his team. They had reached him before his team, but he baited them. He didn't have enough time so he severed the cable he had connected to the communcation node by walking away from it with his mech. then immediately cloaked. The enemy squad went straight for the only radar signature they could find, which was the subject's own portable radar positioned right next to the fuel tanks. He launched a grenade from his Infiltrators grenade launcher which exploded, ruptured the tanks, and caused anything that came out of the tanks to turn to fire. He immediately radioed his team saying that there was another team at the position, but that he was heading to them and had the information they needed. They immediately made for the extraction point after grouping up. After half an hour they were intercepted by a group of 4 varying A-Class mechs. The subject's team (a group of 5, 3 A class mechs and 2 B class mechs) had to fight to get through them, and reportedly, the subject had saved the life of the team leader and one of his subordinates by intervening when a mech assaulted them when they had their repair drones deployed. When they returned, and with the information, everyone who oversaw the operation was astounded and impressed. The subject remained on the team, by his request and the request of several superiors, as a mech OP and PSD agent.
---- After several missions with the group, over the course of 8 months, he asked to return to his old position in the PSD. Everyone accepted this request. When he returned he was a bit more secretive, and his reports weren't quite as detailed or complete as they were before his first mission as a pilot. They were passable but not exceptional like his previous reports. We only now suspect that was because he was leaving information out and holding onto it for some other purpose (presumably to sell to another corporation). He had finally gotten into a Crion primary data system, after months of trying, and reportedly found something (but we do not know what). He had kept the fact that he was in their system to himself. The team of analysts he was with didn't know he was working without them, but that was not uncommon for him. He had just retrieved a major piece of data from them, one that he hid, and removed any trace of from our system (though he left traces that he had retrieved it, just nothing that could quite identify what it was). Presumably, he was going to find more information on this when his connection to the server cut out. First he thought his connection had been found and severed. That was not the case. That was the day the Crion building exploded. Three months after the incident, the subject abruptly departed from the PSD headquarters once he learned he was under suspicion specifically because we had found evidence that he had retrieved a something from Crion Typhus servers just before the Typhus building exploded, and he did not disclose this information to us. He went to the Mech Ops hanger and stole an L5-Boot full equipped and armed. We did not know until it was too late to track him that he had stolen the Boot chassis.

---- The piece of information he stole is of high importance because of where it came from. He had stolen it from a server that was used for data storage for Dr. Hawken himself. There is also the idea that if he found it valuable enough to end the life as he knew it for it. Our agents have looked for him, but it is no longer a primary objective (after the discovery of Vitrolium) Agents have uncovered rumors and have sighted him before. He as been known to work with mercantile groups from time to time as a free agent usually. Some of these groups were even hired by us at the time he was employed by them. It's possible he's done missions for us since then. He does not stay with these groups for long. Most of them are controlled by the "Black Steel Brotherhood." We believe he was a member for awhile, but at one time our agents were involved in a mission that also involved the Black Steel Brotherhood as a cover (The reasons why are not relevant to this report) and one of the agents who was, at one time, tasked with his discovery and capture, recognized him as he got out of a mech with a Boot chassis for some unknown reason. This team was opposing the Black Steel Brotherhood. Unfortunately there was no way for this agent to apprehend him and his current objective took precedent. Later he was spotted by Mech Ops patrols around where the Typhus building once stood. They attempted to apprehend him but he was able to escape in a Muller type B-Class mech.
There has been no further sighting, but rumors are there is some sort of group forming around some information that came from Crion. These are uncomfirmed. However, we b890p8yh(P yt8 ygh 7uiltg89 7T*ILG (&t i87u itg*( Pyh 8(PY hb *it's*true* 89Y H*(O:IHG hg89oui YHG*UIG yigu;ioU G(*

Subject's Personality:
------ The subject is a loner. He is not incapable of making meaningful and/or useful relationships, but does not always make an effort to do so. The subject is interested in a variety of things, but his peak interest is a self-idealistic dream of "making a difference." He always tries to remain moral, but pragmatic and rational at the same time. He does maintain a balance, usually. He usually calculates decisions, remains neutral, but he will act rashly if agitated or if he feels morally outraged (Possible reason for his departure_) He can become obsessive about a project, but sometimes leaves a project unfinished because another project is more interesting, or he becomes too frustrated with one. He is naturally anxious, but functional. However, in a battle situation, he exhibits a strange calmness. The subject tends to remain in obscurity naturally. This can be due to how careful he is when approaching people. Subject is intelligent, but is stifled by inattentive behavior and anxiety. However, he has apparently worked past this. Notes from the subject himself (You guys know where to shove this report!):
==== First, I have a name, use it! My name is NOT subject, in fact it's written on this damn report! I'm Jack! J-A-C-K. This is a problem with all of you megacorporations. Always so impersonal, always so eager to expand, even though your disgusting girth can't even fit a single planet anymore. You have to spread to multiple, and spread your capabilities. For a long time I thought you were a necessary evil, but now I think you're just evil. I'm disgusted with myself for being a willing part of you. You ruin everything you touch. You may help make something beautiful, and claim your touch turns it to gold, but most of the things you touch were never meant to be gold. You make everything you touch wither and die, including the people  you influence, be it directly or indirectly. You, MPC's as a whole, are responsible for destroying billions of lives and ruining entire planets in your wake! Illia is but one example! More are yet to come, and arguably you could say earth is ruined by your taint, even though it's where you got your genesis.

You want to know why I held back information_ I had realized how much of a stain upon humanity you are and decided to do what I could to make things as difficult as I could for you megacorporations. You want to know why I left_ You're right Adrianne, I left because of something I found on Crion's network. The moment before it was blown to hell, then spread hell across this planet. Something incredible they were working on, potentially what could have been part of the cause of this virus, and therefor, the potential part of the cure we need. I refuse to call it the "Hawken Virus" because, seriously, why would you name a horrible tragedy after a great man_ Anyways, you MPC's can't be allowed to touch it, all you will do is monetize it, use it, turn it to gold, then ash. You may rationalize it saying things like "curing everyone and lifting the quarantine is a mutual interest" but we all know what you can do with it. You can leverage it for whatever you need. I don't want your greed to ruin more lives by making this corporate skirmish into another excessively bloody war. You do anything to achieve your goals, saying the ends justify the means, but your ends aren't so justifiable, as you've so obviously displayed for everyone. You may call me a hypocrite, seeing as you obviously have intelligence that I've worked with mercenary groups and other gangs that support corporate interests from time to time. Finding a cure requires money, people, and time. This buys me all of that. Thank you for training me to do this to defy you by the way. So while what I do is hypocritical, the ends justify the means. My ends are justifiable.

WOOO! was it as boring (or otherwise bad) as I thought you (and others) would think it was_ (not sure if that's confusing or if my brain is fried)

Nice, I thought some people might glance at the garbled message and miss it, which is why I put it in the spoiler. Nice to see you got it on your first try!

I'm glad you managed to wade through the entirety of my driveling story :P

BTW, sorry I made another rogue for this. I don't think you're going to find many (if any) people who are just going to be working for the MC's

There are some things towards the end that could have been more detailed (and some things less detailed in the beginning) but I think I just wanted to get it done and over with by that point

Hey Null_Wing, that's some nice information you got there, it'd be a shame if it...disappeared. *refers to own character bio on page 1

All jokes aside, that was a decent read! Now if I just stopped being lazy and started my own lil stories...

Thanks. Honestly I'm pretty lazy too. I don't normally do something like that in one sitting, but I did. Really unusual for me.

This is one of my absolute favorite threads, and I think I'm finally ready to begin contributing my own bio. I'm a little late to the proverbial party, but I'll try my best to make up for lost time. ~_^

The initial section is below.

[Section #1]

Alias/Sobriquet(s): Wisp, Rose Blush, the Healer

“Wi2P” originally appeared in the sights of Prosk due to a series of events at the Redstone Training Facility, where she committed acts of vandalism in attempts to cease the influx of new pilots, and prevent “the fuel of war from burning” (as one scrawling described). Her calling-card was an azure “W”.

Three subsequent weeks of intermittent “artistic assaults” followed, during which approximately two dozen pieces of graffiti were found, logged in record, and removed. The nature of these (so-called) cautionary messages remains undisclosed, excepting the knowledge of the witnesses present before the material was redacted. (-See RTF report file [H319]-)

Midway through the third week, Prosk and Sentium Officers became involved in the vandalism prevention program RTF Staff had patched together, which aimed to cease the occurrences and their effects by tightening security, encouraging quicker removal of graffiti and keeping public calm. Both corporations insisted it was necessary to manetain their continued safety, the safety of new pilots, and RTF staff.
After two days, with only minimum improvements on the situation, Prosk decided to lend an extra hoof. “We’re cracking down, before this facility cracks up”, Knurl Weaver—seasoned Patrick-V2 Predator pilot and CSD Officer—explained to RTF security manager Every Key. “If this was an average series of vandalisms, it’d be over and out by now. We have to think beyond prevention and clean-up, to the lasting solution: Find the catalyst, and the bomb stops ticking.” (-Note Reference Log [H319]-)

Knurl was authorized to fly in the immediate members of his Co-Ops Squad to Redstone, where their four B-Class Stealth Axes assembled. Several hours later, after notifying Sentium of the plan (to avoid a stir), Prosk initiated their strategy, codenamed “Shimmering Stakeout”.
Positioned in key locations around the Facility, the cloaked Predators objective was to discreetly observe the area at ground-level; each was equipped with an advanced detection system alongside the standard-issue Infrared technology. Aerial-view support was provided via watchponies stationed on top of RTF’s roof.

Com silence was strictly manetained, until approx. 01:00-hours. Unit [REDACTED] noted unusual movement at the rear loading docks to RTF’s primary hanger, and proceeded to investigate. The subsequent actions of the Squad resulted in the capture of the delinquent.
“It took three Preds and support from Op-Com to corner this feisty filly,” Weaver later commented. “I didn’t expect our catalyst to look quite like that. But as far as we’re concerned, the bomb is now diffused.”  (-See Field Report –H319—for full operation transcript.-)

Wi2P was relinquished of her belongings (which consisted of saddlebags, various items used to draw and several that had been employed in making the graffiti, a small pouch of rations, boots, a velvety-purple doll, and a peculiar device she carried on her back) and was placed into custody in an RTF holding chamber, until she was moved to Prosk Dropship-J19 the following morning. (Officer Weaver had negotiated for custody with SM Every Keys and Officer Greave Fallon—representative for Sentium’s RTF department—only hours before, by order of his superior. – Note: Prosk neglected to include certain details, chiefly that of the strange saddle-mounted device. Sentium released their say without full knowledge of what they were consenting.)

Dropship-J19 returned to Prosk Military Center 59L17 promptly after Wi2P's transfer.

Fun Facts:
Wi2P enjoys the language of "leetspeak", which (in-part) explains the nature of her callsign.

First Name: Unknown

Known Aliases: Teljaxx, Doomspud
Patron MPC: None
PID: Unknown/none
Threat Level: Pending assessment

History:
Originally the head of security for the "Terra Nova" R&D branch of the -APEX- Heavy Industries MPC, Teljaxx was left behind on Illal along with several other employees right after the Hawken Virus outbreak. He has now assembled what survivors remain into a band of scavengers and mercenaries that has, so far, evaded all attempts to locate their base of operations.

Threat Assessment:
Teljaxx is a skilled pilot, and seems to have an incredibly skilled team of engineers working with him. He has access to what seems to be a limitless army or Axes that have each been assembled out of several different chassis sections, most likely parts scavenged from battlefields or stolen from corporate facilities. These machines, though seemingly haphazard in their construction, apparently function just as well as, if not better, than our current production models.

Teljaxx potentially poses a considerable threat to our operations, but he always fights for those that pay the best. As long as we are the ones paying, then he should be considered an asset. Elimination is not necessary at this time.

MPC name: -APEX- Heavy Industries
Date Founded: December 18, 2131
Current CEO: M. Tokama
Head office: Olympus City, Mars, Sol System
Primary Business: Industrial and military technology
Signature Product: ACM line of humanoid combat vehicles
Holdings on Illal: none
Current market share on Illal: 0%
Potential threat level: Moderate

History on Illal:
Looking to expand its R&D operations into a more open environment, -APEX- Heavy Industries sent a small survey team and security force to Illal seven months before the Hawken Virus outbreak. They had just finished construction of their employee housing to the south of Kobalt City, and were in the process of bringing in their development teams when the Crion Disaster happened. Before the UTA quarantined the planet, -APEX- evacuated all executive staff from their site, but left behind most of their R&D staff and the entire security force.

At this point, the entire area that -APEX- owned has been consumed by the Giga-Structure. Most of the employees left behind have since perished, but it is known that a few still survive out in the Illalian wastelands.

I'm inclined to believe that length doesn't = quality. The words themselves are what carry the weight of worth, not how many of them there are.
What do you mean, though, by "worse"_ My work isn't above anyone else's, and I thought your bio was good. :)

P.S., Yush, I am a unicorn. ^__^ (The discrepancy with my avatar will be rectified.)
