Starting this thread for our clan, currently we are invite only, local original gamers with proper cred, in the Vancouver BC area. We will be taking some media and industry sponsorship when we get things rolling, or maybe just take it easy.

if you are local or you know one of us personally, feel free to contact me and get onboard.

Required background:
-serious experience in any of the following:
Unreal Tournament, CS, Tribes, Quake DM, Half-Life/TF2, etc etc, you know the good ones
-or, serious experience in team sports, especially tournament paintball (or stock class)
-you must be quite cool and you need a good PC and connection...
-experience in Hawken, the more the better

Yep that sums it up for now, I'll edit and add to this later when we get rolling.

Absolutely, although it's a flexible requirement. It's some degree of competitive/league experience we want (in gaming, team sports, or both), as both of them demand teamwork, dedication, work ethic, and mental/physical fitness. Obviously we're not expecting to see a competitive scene in Hawken for a while yet, but it's gonna happen for sure... Not many FPS type games exist any more with e-sport/competitive potential, I foresee a bright future for this one. Mostly, we just want strong, interesting players to be part of our team if it's gonna happen, not looking for quantity so much as quality.

What if people suck at the games you listed but are proficient at this game_ It's not that I'm interested (or anywhere near the area you specified), I think some better clarification might be needed.

To clarify, no we don't want people who are magically good at this game or any single game... those type of people aren't reliable. Team players who have practised and honed their skills for years are reliable and worthy of applying themselves to our clan.

The Alpha is. And I might add that this game is considerably different from the games you mentioned previously.

You're severely limiting yourself, then. Especially when combined with the limited area.

Thank you for the opportunity to play alongside you guys in the tournament. Just wished I was able to communicate during the match, might of had a different outcome, who knows. The organizers of this tournament should have informed us that this was an issue long before the start of the match. I might of had time to install the communication software that the VoC uses. Anyway, again thanks for letting me be apart of the first of many tournaments. See you on the battlefield

No it was not working, I was flying blind not being able to communicate with the members of VoC. Must have been a glitch with it being a private server.
