Hello Hawkeners!

Ok, I'm already a fan of Hawken even before its release. I'm sure I'll become addicted to the game upon its release, cause I am already very satisfied with the alpha.
I enjoyed making my first fanart.

This will probably not be the last.

And... If my english is bad, my apologies, I still have much to learn.
Feel free to correct me if it bothers you.

Neat. I like the oily paintbrush you used. Very well detailed.

Thank you dude. :)
I used "oilify", a default filter you can find in Gimp.
Then, I added a pencil effect to give relief on the mecha texture. ;)

I think that's important to say that I use only FOSS.

I've had experience with GIMP as well for a few years now. It's an excellent program, but I am trying to begin learning the layout of Photoshop.

I mainly use GIMP for forum design. I have yet to make actual art pieces like yours. I might try soon though.

Yes, good idea.
Although Photoshop is more complete, I prefer to use gimp.
I'm also begining to deepen my knowledge in Photoshop.
