i'd recommend watching in order of release. because, that's how they conceived it.

I'd recommend the opposite of what phed said, both to confuse you and because you'll get the most horrible one out of the way first.
Well. Not the opposite, just in the 1 2 3 4 5 6 order.

.Alright guys, I started watching and I followed the order 1,2,3. I am yet to watch 4,5,6. I know that Empire Strikes Back was a hit.


To an earlier question, I had never seen any of them before. I had just read the novels based on the Star Wars world from a library. I loved the 5th one's story. I read Attack on Selonia and lots of other stuff too.

I thought I'd watch based on the order of their numbers as that would help me get a step by step understanding of the series.


I don't really know what is wrong with the Phantom Menace__ Its OK and I loved the podracing part. The graphics were pretty awesome and suitable for the year in which it was made (1999). It has a pretty decent story than most of the new hollywood movies.
I know a lot of people hate JarJar but I think he is funny! His accent is what make him such an outstanding character. I didn't like the movie guys putting him in the senate. Instead he should've stuck with his friends and gone to battles with them. There is just a mere glimpse of him int the Revenge of the Sith.

I love the series so far. How Anakin becomes Darth Vader is awesome!!.
One funny thing in this series is that loosing limbs is nothing!! If I were to loose one, I would wriggle on the floor and groan with pain. There isn't even a loss of blood in the movies!!

There's no loss of blood when one loses limbs in Star Wars due to the nature of the light saber. It's so hot that it cauterizes the wound before it has a chance to bleed out.

I typically watch 1-6 in chronological order.  Though, I admit 5 was my favorite....

watch the first then last then the second then last again then eat a cookie, question life decisions watch 3-5 then re-watch the previous ones again in order, eat another cookie then stare at your ceiling questioning things that had happened in the story, watch the all three 2-part Lord of the rings extend edition dvd set (( if you don't have it shame on you)) watch the old star trek movies (( wit kirk )) then mix all three series together at random, lastly watch spaceballs, it makes a whole lot more sense
