My Raider will soon have a new friend. But what shall I call it_

I got it! My Raider is called M.E.G.A.S.

So why not give the G2 Raider the full title_ M.E.G.A.S. XLR

T32 XT is functionally the same as the normal one right now. It has a different name since it's technically a different weapon - this way they can balance the weapon on the G2 separate from the regular T32.

They did it this way so it could be balanced separately from the regular T-32. They don't want to run into more issues with trying to balance a weapon across multiple mechs, because what may work for one may be op/up for the others.

I think they should make copies of several weapons that are shared by several mechs allowing them to tune for each mech.

So Raider G2 has no turret mode as it has blitz, but does it still have the turret panels on top_ Hard to tell from the banner pic.
ie, Will there be C-classes like RaiderG2 and Grenadier that have cooler looking armor panels rather than traditional turret panels.

You're not boosting when you use the ability so yes you can.

That ability can give you some next flanks, interested in how this mech plays out.

1.  Mechs and maps aren't made by the same people, so map design continues unaffected by the mech release.
2.  Actual new mechs are in the works as well.  They have two teams of people each designing a different mech at any given time.  The G2 series are just little extras that they throw in because they can make them relatively quickly and easily.
3.  The matchmaking system is worked on by yet another group of people. Also, the game's servers are being worked on heavily right now, with lots of things being tested and tweaked.

Not going to lie, this patch is fantastic. Bring it on.

Things I especially liked:
- Increased CRUSHING DAMAHGE
- Decreased pause time after landing... this sounds brilliant
- Grenadier with new ability! FINALLY! And Brawler is getting one too <3
- G2 Raider is actually going to be fun.

One of the first things I was taught was also to never refer to typefaces as "fonts", also
