For games, I've got a set of SteelSeries Siberia V2 in red, and for music I have ZHP-010 Squares in pink (because I didn't like the shade of green they had on the other choice). Both of those are fairly new, but they've been stalwart companions on my recent audio adventures, so it was well worth the bills I dropped on them.

Sony MDR-ZX100

I'd love to get higher quality ones, but I don't have the money for them.

TB PX 21. Man now that I look at these... I've repaired this set so many times!

Only use em for on the go gaming. At home I have a 5.1 200watt set up. When my missiles land you FEEL it! Also works the other way around. Scares the fuzzy bunny outta me some times.

EDIT: wow c-r-a-p gets fuzzy bunnied__

Dirt cheap at £5, but they've lasted me longer than my last pair which was the Steelseries 3H. Only issue I have with headphones is very few have wire protection for where the Cable enters the headset. That is the key breaking point of almost all my headphones so far.

Currently using Beyerdynamic DT 100s. Previously went through 2 pairs of Sony MDR 7506s. I recommend the higher-end wired Sony headphones for listening purposes. I've never used a gaming headset so I can't advise on that. But I do advise against using Dre Beats of any kind, as they do not list anywhere on their website or product packaging about the actual technical specifications of the components in their product.

Used Logitech G930 for about a year, switched to Sennheiser PC 360 with Asus Xonar Phoebus Soundcard.
Sound Quality is better, and i do not miss the wireless-function at all.

AKG K271 MKIIs

I'd normally use them as a secondary pair of cans for music, but it's great for gaming since it's closed. I can hear a LOT of subtleties in the game audio.

A pair of Sennheiser HD580s in a biscuit tin with a loose wire I need to get fixed.

A pair of lamentably cheap gaming Sennheisers I am ashamed to listen to music on.

I'm using a Logitech G35, they're pretty nice. If I had a soundcard I'd definitely want to upgrade to a studio quality headset and maybe a snowball for a mic.

a pair of AIAIAI TMA-1 and Beyerdynamics DT770, I usually play games and do all the non-music-producing stuff on AIAIAI's as they are lighter

A TRITON black-silver by Speedlink, it's the most badass headset i've ever had. The funny thing is that i had to go to Berlin to find something decent, the models i found in my zone were just expensive pieces of c*ap -.-
