or, for the folks like me that got tired of waiting, i downloaded GIMP (a free photochop), read the how-to stuff on the website, and learned to cut&paste brilliantly. my Dementia link has a couple junky examples hidden in it as well as the hideous thing below (can you tell it's 5 cut/pasted images laid over a cropped night photo of a wildfire in southern california_).
I've done several avatars as well. This one isn't the best, but it's my favorite. It's ALL cut/paste, paint and mutilate.

I don't have a picture of Karnak in a mech, so I just decided to go with the clan's red color as a background.

Doesn't look all that good TBH.
1. It's too big.
2. It lacks of style.
3. Bold Arial is not as bad as Comic Sans but still looks pale and out of place here.

I really like the infiltrator (even if i suck with that) or you can try with a scout since I was quite ok back in the days after master Tim trained me in the ways of prediction and brutal death.

Anyway I'm not sure about using a signature, I don't particularly like them.

If you get the last kill on TDM it gives you a closeup. Screenshot that in a good angle when the Victory sign is gone

-You can use the garage screen
-Use the server bowser -> map exploration and hit [tab] for 3rd person, find a location and time it just right after or during a taunt.
-Use the end match screen right before the score shows up

That's where the taunt comes in. When you are doing a taunt you can move the camera around. Use this to position it and right before your camera goes back behind your mech you can take the picture.

At least I imagine you can time it right, but it is easiest to pick a taunt you like and use that pose. I think repairing resets the camera right before you get back to normal, stance so taunts give you a bit more time.
