Yes, majorly.  I am currently watching Kill la Kill, Space Dandy, FLCL, and Psycho Pass. All of which are great shows.

Just finished Log Horizon!  I must admit, it's better than SAO!  I can't wait for the second season coming in the fall!

Hmm I forgot to ask about this one, not sure if it counts as an anime but I find RWBY very enjoyable!

Just recently watched first (for now the only) season of "Attack on Titan", along with "Code Geass" and "Death Note" I count them the most addictive anime series!

I see people write here about their favourite anime titles as well, so I can mention all the works of Hayao Miyazaki and Makoto Shinkai as following...

Flying Phantom Ship (1969, I doubt any of young folks here watched it, but it was such a hit when I was a child, great memories )
Hellsing (both old series and new OVAs; personally I suggest to read 1897 Bram Stoker's "Dracula" before starting to watch this, makes it a story in 2 parts! )
Ninja Scroll (1993 movie and especially 2003 series - that soundtrack!..)
Shaman King (2001-2005 series)
Ergo Proxy (2006 series)
Vampire Hunter D - Blood-lust (2000)
Akira (both 1988 movie and Kanye West / Daft Punk music adaptation in the "Stronger" song, lol )

Elfen Lied (2004 series, sad, gory, and very nice soundtrack - this anime is definitely not for everyone)
Gantz (Oh well, since we only got one weird anime adaptation in the form of 25 episodes that end... silly, vote goes for 2004 series, manga is much better, but I couldn't let it escape the list).

Okay it's already 17 titles, I need to stop!.. xD

I would also recommend Another;Denpa Teki na Kanojo;Ga-Rei:Zero;Gyo;Mirai Nikki. Just some what i could think of.
Well not all has lots of gore or torturing in it, but i rather watch something mentally terrifying than stabbing etc.

I did it.. I have finally finished Kill la Kill. Damn, dat HYPE, dat EPICNESS.. And dem FEELS at the end. Easily one of the best titles i have ever seen.

Started watching Gintama.  WHY HAVEN'T I HEARD OF THIS ANIME BEFORE!_!_!  The amount of epicness and 4th wall-breaking comedy is too much for me to describe well!
