well I was possibly considering this for the incerator because if it effected assists this guy gets them all day long.

Nope.
It got taken out because Scoots and Raidhurrs could go so fast they skipped frames when using both speed-enhancing internals.

The way the evasive device helps me is that I get a further dodge while it's active, and in the middle of a fight it can help me outmaneuver an opponent. Also great for sneaky getaways, especially when I use the ability in an infiltrator, predator, raider, or G2 Raider which have movement amplification effects built in. Hell, even my brawler feels harder to kill once I started using the ED. Just that little extra bit can do wonders.

while no one can guarantee you a kill to trigger the power surger,you will get for sure below 50% armor in a match many times(where the evasive device turn on),I use it on my second pred set up and its great,stalking speed increase+evasive device and I can get back to flank fast enough while they don't expect me

I've thought about putting evasive device in my Pred, but I'm not sure how I'd make space for it. I love my air compressor and I love my advanced reconstructer. Both routinely save my life.

My internal set-up for basically all my mechs is as follows. Air Compressor, Evasive device, and Basic deflectors. Advanced reconstructor promotes too much of a passive playstyle and makes me cowardly when I use it, so I got rid of it on my predator. I put the Air compressor in it's place.

Huh. I find that AR allows me to do some crazy things in my Pred then escape without needing to rep and make myself vulnerable. Sneak behind enemy lines, kill someone, cloak with low health, sulk off before the buddies of the poor sap I toasted come looking for him.

Is one setup to rule them all really a good idea_ I get that those internals help your playstyle, but I'd think it would be better to adapt your playstyle to each mech in order to use it to its fullest.

Advanced reconstructor is probably best on mechs that have a tactical advantage for being out of combat like the Predator, Infiltrator, and probably Sharpshooter.
