Love how the battleship has turrets, and the whole concept behind siege, but... battleship just disappears when it reaches enemy base_ Or is that a bug on my part_ If not a bug, seems a little lame :/ Any plans on the books if so_

sum:
1) Turrets could use more awesome
2) Base damage could be more awesome



If this just hasn't been implemented yet then meh. Delete topic.

I agree one hundred percent.
  • battleship just disappears when it reaches enemy base (we need something, such as ramming enemy base)
  • battleship must be a lot louder, his majesty has prevail over the battlefield.

The sound effect of a battleship near you should make you either feel completely overwhelmed or reassured. A battleship should produce the effect of the über impressive sound of the mothership in District 9... when it is around, you should feel like it's much more than just a mobile artillery platform.

I wasn't looking when the ship disappeared, so i though it was a bug. Only after i saw the enemy base had lost 1/3 of its HP did i realize how the Siege mode was supposed to work, and that the process had to be repeated 3 times.

But yeah, disappearing ship looks lame, and needs to sound louder

I agree with previous statements. Not sure if bug or still in development.
Maybe make the battleship fly past the tower and rise to the athmosphere inflicting damage in that flyby. A missile barrage would be awesome as hell to see :D

Yeah I thought of inception but it's really a music compared to the sound effect in D9. I'm not saying inception sounds aren't good though! Either way, I think it could be cool to have one loud "bass" sound and having glass exploding all over the place the first time a battleship would come... would definitely add some fuzzy bunny intensity in the game. Although it must be a lot of work to implant in game :(

BTW, in case everyone doesn't know already, anything that just DISAPPEARS for no reason, like the overhead ships... that's placeholder content and probably is already well-known by the devs.

i've got confirmation that this 'battleship vanishing' is not final. It's just an effect not fully implemented yet. It's still BETA...
