A big pane of glass right there in front of the pilot, center mass, not like it would be that much better without it.  Flat armor is sooooo  WW1.

I don't want to offend the artists, but these two new designs just don't look like something anyone would make.

You mean the Assault_ It looks like it makes a great little entertainment system when there's a bit of downtime. Just add some speakers to flip out and you're set.

The whole point is that everything is supposed to be scrap and salvage tossed together into a battle suit. Maybe it's the cab from an ice cream truck they found lying around.

Then slowly working your way up, preferably blasting your way to some better scraps to slap together with some legs and weapon arms. I sure as hell know one of those mech engineers found some leftover parts from an attack helicopter and found it has a nice cockpit to be re-used.

Wait until you see the default frame for Assault-class mechs. It was nicknamed "TV Mech", but it emerged that its name is Fred.

I think the overall style is rather neat. I get the feeling the designers took a big bit of inspiration from Maschinen Krieger and other works by Kow Yokoyama.

sharpshooter=original xbox. I remember I was once an impressionable lad and paid 30 bitcointicketmarks for some paint in an old mech mmofps that will go unnamed. Although I see they want to charge for paint jobs here, at least there might be aftermarket-style parts to ward off the funk of merch.

I think people need to sit back and realize that THERE WILL BE A WIDER MECH SELECTION IN THE FINISHED GAME.

Play to Unlocks and Pay to Unlocks. I'm sure some of the mechs you have all seen in the alpha will make a return later this year.
