same bug with mediafile downloading. no such files "InstalledHawkenFilesBinariesWin32" i don't have after instalation of launcher.

I dont even have a Binaries Folder in my game's install directory

C:Program Files (x86)MeteorEntertainmentHawkenInstalledHawkenFiles  

is all I have and inside InstalledHawkenFiles is

Locales folder which only has the en-US.pak. and whats not in Locales is just the hawkenlauncher,chrome.pak and the dll's. No binaries folder.

And that's because Diamondeye96 thought he was being a hero, but what he didn't realize was that there are two separate problems occurring. Some people have the game installed and can't connect to the server, and some people can't install the game in the first place. This thread doesn't work for anyone who hasn't installed the game yet.

In other words, this is what happens when you think you're smart and know everything, and then decide to prove it. It backfires.

I was just having the same Meta File error, and all you have to do is uninstall and then re-install. Then the game will download correctly.
