Welcome, So in this thread i'll be listing some Problems and it's Fixes, that will be usefull for people in future or when ever.
So basically if you got any problem, try to find the solution in here.

Here are the currentl the minimum/recommended specs:

Min Spec

CPU: 2Ghz Dual Core
Memory: 3GB RAM
Graphics Card: 512MB Graphics card supporting DirectX 9.0c and Shader Model 3.0 ( nVidia 9800 GTX/ AMD HD 5670 )
Operating System: Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7 32bit or 64bit
Hard Drive: 5 GB of space
Internet Connection: Broadband connection

Recommended Spec

Installation.

*After the Download A message will be prompted to install DirectX, Net .Framework etc
*After that is complete, Run HawkenLauncher, Enter email/Password and enjoy the game.

Can't acces Beta-Game/Download while being a Beta-Tester_
If you are using IE or any other Browser, try download/logging in with Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc.

D3DCOMPILER_43.dll is missing_

Unable to load application configuration_
If previous Alpha players are receiving the error "unable to load application configuration" you need to uninstall the Alpha client before you download the Beta.


Xapofx1_5.dll Missing_
Note: If you've already downloaded xapofx1_5.dll from one of those DLL download sites, remove it from wherever you put it and continue with these steps.

• Restart your computer if you haven't yet.
  
  The xapofx1_5.dll error might be a fluke and a simple restart could clear it up completely.
  
  
  
• Install the latest version of Microsoft DirectX. Chances are, upgrading to the latest version of DirectX will fix the xapofx1_5.dll not found error.
  
  Note: Microsoft often releases updates to DirectX without updating the version number or letter so be sure to install the latest release even if your version is technically the same.
  
  Note: The same DirectX installation program works with all versions of Windows including Windows
  
• 7, 8, Vista, XP, and more. It will replace any missing DirectX 11, DirectX 10, or DirectX 9 file.

OR
You uninstall all the directX and install Directx 9 only

There is a way around the metafile error. Look for the Binaries folder in the game's install directory (1-2 levels down). In there is the actual game exe (called HawkenGame-Win32 or something like that) in stead of the launcher. Use the game exe to start the game and gogogo!

I dont even have a Binaries Folder in my game's install directory

C:Program Files (x86)MeteorEntertainmentHawkenInstalledHawkenFiles  

is all I have and inside InstalledHawkenFiles is

Locales folder which only has the en-US.pak. and whats not in Locales is just the hawkenlauncher,chrome.pak and the dll's. No binaries folder.

I'm getting the "Unable to load application configuration" error. I've uninstalled the Alpha 2 client, but I'm still getting the error.

It's even happened back with the Alpha.

Try deleting the Alpha version by going to Start Menu, Settings, Control Panel, Uninstall a program, and uninstall alpha  from there.

I've tried that many times.

DirectX setup has determined that a newer or equivalent version of DirectX has been installed already. No installation is necessary.

That is what I always get. I looked in my System32 folder too.

I have the File, and it's up to date. Game won't work still.

With some more info, like 32-bit etc.

Found the fix, Delete your DirectX "Full"
And download DirectX 9 "Not 10 or 11 or below" Only 9 and install it.
+Don't update try it with DirectX 9 and reply.

Can't uninstall it from Programs on Control Panel.

I deleted DirectX out of my Registry, and tried reinstalling it, and it still told me my DirectX had the newest version installed.

If you happen to know how to properly uninstall DirectX, enlighten me.

Bad idea.  Not only is it not the full install that is expected, but you have no way to verify that it has not been tampered with.  Do it right and download the DX install from microsoft.  it's a free download and install.

Suggest for the list, how to properly post a bug.

• Search the bug report forum and make sure what you were going to report is not already listed.
  
• If it is not, read the sticky post that details what info to put into the bug report and the format of the report.
  
• Post the info.

• Do not post anything that you are not sure is a bug.  Always search the forum for what you are seeing/experienced before posting anything.
  
• Do not add to an existing post in the bug reporting forum anything that does not have anything to do with the post subject.
