even if patience is the best option it s always cool to see peeps exited about updates and such things, it prooves that the game is alive...and perhaps.....it can even encourage devs...under a certain angle only...of course

I think the devs should really communicate a lot more with the player community, both here on the forums, but also on Facebook.

I actually think that it is essential for the game to succeed. I am imagining that the devs are sitting in front of computers all day long, so I find it hard to believe that they are so busy that they can not find the time to do this. Make time! It's important.

I hunger for news about where the game is going, and I can tell that many others feel the same way.

Also at this time where so many people rage about the game, and also many are leaving, I think it is kind of disrespectful to just stay silent.

Looking forward to the development update this week, but I am also afraid that many will be disappointed if it does not contain tons of information.

Let me say one thing...sorry for the rant but i start to be disgusted.

Let me explain please:
I have a coffee shop in Italy with my family, my father is 60 old and can't find a job in the last 5 years....you can imagine his depression:
we have a very difficult life and i have to work 9/10 hours at day in my coffe shop, plus i start to make sing lessions and some piano bar evry night just for see some money because me and my family are 5 years that we work FOR FREE, just work and pay taxes,goodness etc.

My second job allows me to help my mother and my wife,and despite the extra-job time i have to say i'm lucky to have this gift and i can gain some extra money making something i love: to sing.

When i had more time, i made all the sfx and i processed all the dialogue lines in a freeware game called Diaspora_ shattered armistice and i love to work on videogames...i'm still currently the SFX chef departement....all made FOR FREE AND PASSION.

That said, when i see people that lives working on a videogame and continue to say: ''we're a small team'' or ''we're busy'', or ''we had attentions on another thing'' or ''we cannot post all the day'' i start to be disgusted.
You have a job in VIDEOGAMES (a job) and you cannot find the time for your community, for people that gives you moneys_

This is completely ridicolous, the lack of respect for the Hawken community (and for real life situations of your community) is unbelieveable.
The only thing i know is that  i can only dream to live working on a videogame...it's just a dream for many of us just because we cannot leave our families and we live in counrties that don't give to us this possibility,

It's like you think you have to do with some stupid children that his real problem is waiting for the patch (and many times i agree it really is),but you work with expectations and people dreams...and for that people supports you with moneys.

As you can see community requires a bit of respect IMO,and you have at least to show that your is a JOB,not a free time hobby.

Anyway i'll not  live Hawken...i'll continue to stay here and see how far you can push yourself to those shameless excuses,just out of curiosity.

I'm sorry again for the rant...i've never said nothing but this time it's different, i feel offended by your role, position, and by all the insignificant posts you made all the time as we are just stupid childrens.

Learn respect for people that gives you a job, or you could finish in a coffe shop working for free like me, and believe me: when you start a REAL job, not yours, things change my friends.

I am checking forums everyday and to be honest your arguments are wrong,cause if you actually check you will see that the devs appear like almost everyday(if you check you will see them answering in different topics),so not like they have disappeared,we are having a development update this week,be patient people!

I just hope that the next patch brings more people to play Hawken.  I look at the Steam Game charts yesterday and Hawken was ranked below 150 now.  Steam is showing a steady drop off over the past few months.  I think the average number of plays was a little over 1,000.  That is over 83 current games going on at any time.

I just hope we get a new mech, I need something new to level.

Did it a couple of times before, it is a pain. But if it was well planned and announced it can be done swiftly.

Simply being on the forums and responding to something off-topic is to communicate.

If the devs simply was on the forums and just commented on random stuff they would have solved the communication problem easily.

I'd rather have them fix bugs or work on other stuff, than waste time on forums to appease needy clingy pilots that want an update every minute of the day...
