Ive got like 72 hours and I cant even raise my MMR past 2000!

He doesn't even use a full decked out Brawler, that's what worries me.
He just has shield and 1 internal when I bumped into him.
When he figures out what internals to use to max his playstyle, he will be unstoppable.

Folks put in hundreds of hours to get to top tier, and a (pretty damned good) newb bypasses them in a week or two.

well, I goof along and get 4 or 5 mmr per game at so-so scores, if someone bangs it at 10 per game, does at least 3 (10min) games per hour, that's 30+ mmr. 1500mmr entry, (2100mmr) 600/30=20hrs; this probably includes additional games played that weren't quite that good, up to 4 or 5 games per hour total. if they're doin' better, they'll really speed to the top. completely plausible. if they're consistent, i'd see them rising faster than that.
