The damage for both weapons:

I've heard different things from different people, never a solid answer:

Does a fully charged T32 really do as much damage as a single shot form a ReFlak_

What's the T32's sustained damage like_

Is the EOC worth buying if you Charge in with a Raider instead of Flanking_

Thanks to everyone in advance!

T 32 is better for corner play it does a ton more damage per shot fully charged than the ReFlak which is better for open area fights.

The EOC on the raider is not exactly the best for in your face fighting but the first time you dump it along with your secondary into three repairing enemies on origin after taking a side jump pad you will know why i call it the PartyBot2000 in my garage. Anyone under half health is now very dead if you get more than one person with this burst the AA is as good as your so long as your team is decent.

So the Bolt DOES do more damage charged than the Reflak_

I've always seen people say the T32 does as much damage fully charged as the ReFlak dishes out with one click.

It does do more burst damage, and the sustained fire isn't that much weaker than the ReFlak.

Guess it's a good weapon, it'll take some time to get used to.

Charged the t32 does 130, uncharged it does 70. The trade off is how much burst you need In a certain fight, I may only need 70 damage and a Mirv. If your enemy is full health you'll normally charge it to 130 for that first hit and do as much damage as possible. You get the choice and thats the difference, in open combat without much cover though you may see more viability in the reflak.  I love the t32 because I can snap out of cover and maybe grab that last bit of damage. I personally hate the reflak though, I don't find it as fun. The choice is yours padawan.

I personally like the ReFlak more, but that might be because I have fuzzy bunny aim, it has a higher fire rate, so that compensates for that. ;)
Also ReFlak bounces off walls.

I'd say T32 is the more skillful weapon, but don't let that cloud your judgment. Take whatever you like more.

I'd say Reflak is for if you want to play it like an Assault.

I'd say there is no debate, T32 is better in every way. ReFlak is better as a set of training wheels, once you get good at corner play, just ditch it. Though I will say that I don't use T32 on my Raider much, I've always liked the EOC more on it.

According to the Hawken Salty Stats doc:
ReFlak - 59.4 per shot, 108 per second
T32 Bolt (uncharged/charged)- 75/120 per shot, 100/88.89 per second

The problem with the ReFlak is that its main gimmick is seldom useful. Enemies usually aren't near a useful surface, or reflection is mostly a few lucky guesses, or a direct shot is possible instead.

Reflak has a tighter spread so you can use it quite reliably at midrange. It excels at catching runners. A little bit of mental calculation and/or memorization to the mix and you'll find the ricochet feature handy too. :)
