h0B0 means unscripted footage. A lot of our group are rather skeptical of edited footage, and prefer to see raw gameplay footage.

hmmm.
i ran it a few times, and one thing stands out: for some reason, the graphics strike me as just looking cheap.
i like the concept, and it looks fun, but it leaves with a "comic book" impression.
and lots n lots of obvious cut&paste. ick.
maybe it's just me.

My feelings exactly.

Toxikk loos really fun, but I am afraid that it will be released, and only have like 20 people playing. This is one of the main reasons I am always hesitant to pay too much for online only games.

It seems really obvious that they are trying to basically make their own version of UT2k4, and that is totally fine with me. Close imitation of one of my favorite arena shooters_ Count me in!

Hate to burst bubbles, but if you look at the steam key closed beta access item on any purchase tier, it says "ETA Q4/2014", so you shouldn't expect to play the beta for at least another month.

Unfortunately, a lot of it is staged. The jeep impact, the dogfight, that rocket kill mid-air. Not saying it no actual gameplay footage, but rather than "found clips" these are "constructed clips."

but it's still gameplay no matter what it is.

cause f2p is the wrong way most the time tbh i am happy it cost money look at other games that went down that line with xp boosters and pay for skins and such, With this game all the skins that come out and mods and extra levels are FREE they are opening a community base hub for people to download each others mods that are approved by the devs for the game! think of it like counter strike go. Not saying f2p is bad or anything but look at most games for example  even hawken has been getting some bad times but with something that you know that every person will purchase will be pocketed money and besides having a person play your game without spending a cent which is money gone, Some devs are talking about it now and thinking of changing pay models from ( SOME GAMES )

So many arena shooters in development has popped up within the last year that I feel like I'll need more fingers to count them all... but I suppose I'll keep an eye on it.

It looks nice graphically, but I'm not too fond of the vehicles. We'll see!

I started mousing over the names of posters. nearly all (with 3 or 4 exceptions) were gone, and hadn't been back since Steam. A LOT of them for a really long time. This morning the in-game count was ~380. I don't have the data, but i'd bet the overall loss of pre-Ascension member activity is prolly higher than 95%, and very possibly higher for the whole membership prior to Steam.
I hope when ADH comes out of it's cave, there is something humongous and trend-reversing about to arrive....it ain't lookin' good, folks.

Not true, The devs of this game said they have all the money set aside to launch the game without any issues and they are doing steam early access cause Steam don't let just anyone put games up if you are a new dev. Some get lucky and don't have to go through the green light or early access program but many have to, If you are ubisoft you can throw fuzzy bunny at the store cause you are one of the big guys... Go watch totalbiscuit he says the same fuzzy bunny. I can see this game get a full release faster then when hawken was announced in 2011... 2014 guys and still in beta and don't bash me blindly without knowing information first.  EM10 knows as well as i do whats coming to hawken... but then again everyone here dont like to hear others say anything about the game they love or they go ape fuzzy bunny and bash that person even when they know its all true.
