I'm guessing the website and application have different rules on what characters are allowed.  This should be standardized.

Aye... special characters in my passwords as well and I couldn't log in until I changed my password to remove. Now if I could just get on a server... *sigh*

sadly, it doesn't fix mine.. but error changed to unable to login, server not available.. do big characters work in the password_ *edit: tried it all, doesn't affect it at all...

Mith Thanks for reporting the the tip on special characters in passwords being a problem!  Removing them from my password did the trick for me as well.  Whenever there are some servers avialble to have a match on I'm all set.

Indeed.  It's made even worse that you have to log in again in-game, after you've already logged into the laucher, where there's no copy/paste support.  This prevents me from using any randomly-generated strong password.
