Germanfag here. Awesome, im subscribed since the dawn of time and only gotten an Alpha 2 access, which i downloaded too late as a normal day worker and now cant play the beta.
Gnnh its getting late here and i still cant play. Im not amused.

I just downloaded and installed the game client today (Oct. 26, 2012) and I am having the same issue.

Guys while you are all waiting for them to fix this issue...I would advise making some papas rellenas.

Finally got it to work. I don't know if this will help anyone, but just try joining servers that have 0-5 people online, that's how I got into 2 servers. Keep trying!

Just gotta have some patience with this. It's only beta, so things like that are bound to happen. At least they'll fix it and we won't have bother with it in the future! And that's a good thing, because I've played it for a while, and I gotta say.. this game is gonna be epic!

Servers are hard to get into right now, very full (West Coast). I've tried to get into the others, same issue.

I've also received "lost connection to host" several times in the process.

Yea, same issue from northwestern US. glad to at least have the game downloaded for when the beta is actually playable

Yes Matchmaking works, just set it to any and all regions. Keep spamming enter and eventually you will get into a game. A lot of people are trying to play with very few servers so you need to spam it to get your place in line at the end of a match.
Once you get into a game DON'T LEAVE. I played about 5 games of DM in a row after spamming enter for 5 minutes.

Id say I had at least 100 failed join attempts and then finally one that actually loaded a server.  Was able to play around 10 matches with no problems at all.  Love the game.  Sure hope I can get back in.

Yup, took 6 tries bot was able to join a match for the second time.
