If this becomes something separate from Training Thursdays, message me so I can add it.

talk to TAW.net folks. they used to have a regular non-mandatory anyone invited map walk-about, mech training, and skills "classes" on request for attendees on Thursdays 2100 Eastern US, all you had to do was show up in the TAW TeamSpeak main Lobby and act helpless :)
Here you guys go! https://community.pl...ning-thursdays/ Hope to see you all at Training Thursdays

Ah, well, another training event! Since you are the more experienced player, and that you actually have a designated time, I think you may be better to host the event. But I'm actually worried about that time though - many people have work/school on a Thursday so that does not seem like the perfect time to host the event.

Just my "two cents" . :)

As far as I know, Training Thursdays seems to be hosted by a person that is better than me. My prime reason for the topic was to state the idea and get "trainers" and "students" together with me being another student. Training Thursdays seems to be similar, but is hosted by a high-tier player who has more experience and would be far more organised. So far, I'm not sure if the two events would clash, but I know that Thursday is not a good time for some people due to work/school so I'm going to continue with this event/topic. :)

Also, thanks to everyone who has volenteered for teaching, I think that it'd be great! :D For the time being, I'm going to try and figure out a schedule of some sort so that we can cover one teacher per week who specialises in thier chosen subject! So, who wants to go first_

War Wednesday is on a weekday and has great attendance. Also, there is already a smattering of TAW members who attend regularly so the people coming from the forums will only make it bigger.

Oh, sorry, I didn't know. :( But how many of those people do not come from America or the regions around America_ From my times around the Funtime Fridays event, it doesn't seem that there are many people that join those events who are not from America. I'm from Australia, and I am around 12 hours in front of EST, If this training is held late in you night - I' m gettig ready to head off to school. Only time that really works for me is if you all play in the morning. And I don't know too much about the Europian player base time either...

Unless you plan to exclude everyone who is not in/around America, which I must say is not too bad since most of the player base is from America, but nonetheless, you'd be excluding some people from the event.  I am 100% sure that I cannot attend on a Thursday because I normally have a massive amount of homework. And that is only me.

A calender would be a good idea, however I think that one should be made after we get more than one willing trainer/teacher. How would you recommend the poll to be set out_

With polling I meant trainers posting something like "Who's interested in [insert specific training here] _", people could then use the post like button to show they're interested, without there even being a set date for it yet.

After that, the sessions get planned in a calendar (best to try to always have them on the same day and starting time every week)
