So, after having being taught by Weezl3 on "how to Raider", and being taught by Deathstrike_666 on "how to fly", I have decided that I have a lot to learn. So this thought occured to me; why don't we have some sort of designated time where players can meet up and help each other_ Like a weekly time where a veteren and/or high-league player could drop in a show some pilots how to do something from Weezl3's Raider firing lessons to how to dodge properly, I think that many would benefit from it.

So this idea came to mind.

It occured to me that my previous topic here: https://community.pl...-how-to-hawken/ , had too much writing, and let's be honest, the majority of people would not like to read paragraphs of writing but rather see it in action. Anyways, there are things that cannot be explain by words - what was that saying_ A photo is better than a thosand words_ Well you get what I'm trying to say.

I haven't really decided on a time as of yet, but I had thought that it could be held on a Saturday EST. If you have a good time to hold this event, I'd be thrilled to hear it and I'll update this post when we finally decide. :)

If you're willing to teach, please just say so in the topic! It would be greatly appreciated! :D

Okay, see you on the battlefield!

Well I like the idea of having set times and servers for new people (And even experienced players) to come along and learn a few new things.
I am willing to help teach people and I ain't that good at teaching but I will try to help the new people :)

I can do pretty much all the mechs and even help people with how to defeat curtain mechs if they have troubles against them.

I'm always up for teaching people how to play Predator.

Edit: Add me ingame/on Steam (info in profile) if you're interested.

talk to TAW.net folks. they used to have a regular non-mandatory anyone invited map walk-about, mech training, and skills "classes" on request for attendees on Thursdays 2100 Eastern US, all you had to do was show up in the TAW TeamSpeak main Lobby and act helpless :)

I tought that was TAW-only, or at least only TAW members where allowed to teach.

I like this idea, sign me up. My hunger for knowlege grows strong.

I approve of this idea 303%. Maybe we need more than one session to cover all regions_

Would also be cool to have some sort of training calendar, with different specific sessions by Trainers which are planned in beforehand, and something for people to enlist in them so they know how much people will show up and be better prepared. Could be as simple as a Doodle I think. + this thread to request or propose specific training, or poll for interest

I do understand where you are coming from, but the people willing to teach would have to be from those regions. Other than that, I think that the majority of the servers can be covered in one or two sessions.

A calender would be a good idea, however I think that one should be made after we get more than one willing trainer/teacher. How would you recommend the poll to be set out_

I'm pretty sure most Predator pilots-- including me --use the Breacher.

Add me ingame. I'll shoot you a message when we're both online.

Teach me sensei.

Whether its TAW or not this is good to have. I found that popping into the fight club servers quite helpful this weekend so I know I wouldn't mind something a little more casual where I can just pop in and out.

I can comfortably teach people HEAT/Flak Scout*, HEAT/EOC Infil*, AR/SMC/Vulcan Zerker, Slug Reaper, Slug SS*, Reflak/T32 Raider, Rev/HEAT/Vulcan Gren*, Flak Brawler*, and SMC/Vulcan/Miniflak Vanguard (mechs that I'm best with are asterisked), but I can't really guarantee my availability between IRL things and my thread. If I'm online in-game and you want help with something, feel free to message me and ask.

If anyone wants to get some Technitian tactics, map exploration/navigation or movement optimization feel free to ask, I'm shure some people like myself are willing to spend some time getting mech movement down.

One does not master the EOC, the path to EOC mastery is a neverending road. I'm curious if you have any tricks or playstyles that I haven't found yet.
