Clan tags are definitely needed and are a staple of any FPS these days, I am guessing they just haven't added them yet...that doesn't mean we don't need to show our support for the feature though

For those of you that voted no, Hawken is a team game and clans are just an officialisation of that team

I would wait for Open Beta for this, really, because it's hardly a priority.. but some sort of clan tag solution would be nice. Maybe clan-specific mech paints_ Although you wouldn't want to let people be able to set their own designs, because you'd have mechs walking around with big fuzzy bunnies on the side, just what you want people to take screenshots of.

Isn't there something on the main page about clan support on it's way_  I admit I didn't read the post, but I would assume that would include clan tags.

today i killed somebody acouple times in a match, there was something about his name that didn't seem right, the last time i saw it, it was different- so i thought maybe he was a fake, so i messaged him on my twitter to make sure it was the same person.

"it'd make a great suggestion on the forums"

edit: so, basically i have no idea, the whole point of this thread was to deliver the message "the community wants clan tags" but i don't even know if there's any point to this thread anymore, its obvious even the developers want them, i'm just curious, perhaps its too late in development to dynamically implement them next to the callsigns_ who knows

i guess my next question is, who really reads this stuff_ is it all of the devs_ or just the phantom himself_ was my quest for a clan tags thread just a polite suggestion_ or does a greater community response actually help the developers achieve something they'll probably do anyway_ or is this my quest.... am i the true hero of clan tags!!!!!
