I use the CM Storm Sentinel Advance. Cheap, reliable, twin lasers, programmable buttons, goes up to 5600 DPI with an on the fly profile-switcher, you can choose what color it lights up as, and you can adjust the weight of it fairly quickly. I should also point out that it's good for people with big mitts like mine. :P

I have a Razor Naga molten edition for my RTS needs, but generally I use my A4 Tech X7 for FPS games. An enormous DPI can only hurt in a game such as Hawken where aiming is not central skill of multiplayer.

MX518.

It is almost exactly the same shape as my hand and the internals meet my requirements.

Unsure what I'll replace it with when it wears out.

Unconvinced by lasers (do they still lose accuracy at high speeds) and I think a lot of gaming mice have a lot of toys you'll never really use but do pay for.

Had a rat 7 middle button/scrollwheel broke in weeks plus everything seemed loose. Had to f@#k with it constantly. Not worth the $$. Fallback logitech g9 works fine.

Logitech M500 here - a really nice tilt-wheeled five-button mouse at a rather reasonable rate - 30 USD if you buy it from Newegg in OEM packaging. It's very specific for right-handed use, but even as a southpaw myself I've always moused with my right hand. Just fits the common setup easier.

After killing three MX510's and two MX518's I moved to the Logitech G9.  Works great!

old school logitech mx510, think it was among the first gaming mouses of the series. Yeap, that old :P
Thing has lasted me so many games and battles I am surprised I still use it after 7 years! It's like my comrade in battle after so many years, the thing has gone into veteran mode now just like a war partner that you grow up with :P Can't seem to want to replace it after such a long time, especially when it still works as good as new. Im surprised the old timer has lasted me so long. Judging from the endless hours on Quake 3 and UT matches, followed by extensive play on so many other FPS games, I'm kinda starting to get scared at the fact it still works :/ Think it managed to get a soul of it's own by now XD
