dodges all Day [daD] is down for it (most of our team signed the thread individually), but looking at the patch notes I think we will have a hard time getting scrims going since they removed the server browser :-(

Yeah, but we do have join on friend as an option, and if someone finds a server with no one in it we can just join off them. Not the best scenario, but still. May take a game or two of people joining off someone to get the teams right though.

I think it's best to postpone team battles untill we get the server browser back. It's gonna take forever to fill a server with only the players you want.

There are three ways we can go about this.

1. Postpone
2. Ask people politely to leave
3. Ask devs for an empty server so we can all connect at once via the console.

I'd be surprised if the developers didn't want some higher end tests.

Obviously I plan on the asking devs option first.

Well, if anything, I know how to make my own server, so as long as they would enable a way to connect to it, we'd be able to play specific maps and modes then... but I doubt the devs will do that for some small groups.

Local servers should be different from online accessible ones.

Try having a friend connect through connect (IP) just in case.

I'll be putting the mumble details up tomorrow after work. Chances are unless you join at a reasonable time nobody will be on. Two hours before the matches is reasonable.

You can download the client by going to google and having half a brain. I won't be on till tomorrow, but at least you can test connecting.

Basically we're gonna pick a mode, join a server, then ask people to leave for the match whilst linking them to the streams.

Join through friend makes it doable, just a pain in the aft.

Once we get a server rotating people in for team switches should be cake.

I've learned my lesson from other games. Not till they show up.

Games set up like this have a very, VERY, high drop rate. I honestly expect that we won't have enough ringers and we'll have to pull from other teams.

If a team wants added to the first post bad enough they can PM me a roster. Same with ringers.
