From now on, if I see one of my team mates in trouble, I won't intervene in fear of 'stealing' their kill.
I have benefited from arriving late (I am not hanging back waiting for this scenario) and killing somebody, and I have 'lost' a lot of kills too from somebody doing the same. My assist number is pretty high.
As long as the team benefits then I am good with it.
