A little bit of everything, probably with a little bit of favoritism for high mobility, glass cannons, and sniper weapons. Doesn't mean I won't also enjoy sitting in the fattest mech I can make, dumping as much ordinance as I can afford into people.

A heavy medium mech, with a mixture of weapons to take into battle depending on what is required. Rapid fire, close ranged weapons on small maps. Heavy cannons and rifles on anything else. Kinda like the setup i like in the armoured core series (not no.5, AC5 was a eyesore)

As always the main concern is balance, as for me I'm a semi-sniper guy, just give-me a slow rate accurate machine gun and a heavier shotgun like or missile launcher type for high damage close combat, and I'll be ready to face the world! I don't do compromise and like to always have options.

Isn't balance ALL about compromise, not excelling in just one area so that you can be proficent in more then one_  That said, I like your loadout choices :)

It's hard to really say what my play style is going to be - definitely be dependant on the speed, armor, and weapon styles.  I do like to be in the thick of things, but not a spray and pray maniack!  GL GGs!

I would like to build a mech thats  Reasonably fast with  Long and short range weapons. Soften em up with missiles or a sniper weapon then move in fast for the kill.that was the most effective way I found with Mechwarrior:P

Well, based off my experience with other FPSs, I could go one of two ways. Either I will become A: a very careful super long-range sniper type who's aways sneaking around, or B: a near suicidal rush n' attack, spray n' pray type. Only time will tell which one I go with.

I suppose since I'm more used to games like Armored Core and Virtual On, I'll want something faster and more mobile, preferably with powerful but short-range weaponry (and maybe some steady-damage homing missiles or noise missiles of some sort). But I'll have to see more of how the game actually plays first-hand before I can make that decision and stick with it.

I like to keep my options open in a fight, seems the best way to do that is to stay mobile and aware of your surroundings. Discretion is the better part of valor!!!

Quick mechs. Straight Run 'N Gun! That's how I play most FPS games, when it comes to having fun of course ;)

It's going to depend on my Ping which usually stops me from being a sniper and forces me to keep moving so I dont get headshotted ;)  I like the hectic desperate style of mech war - always moving, seeking cover and shooting from cover. I'll be using the environment where possible and just having fun. RPG guy from wayyyyy back so I'll be in the workshop alot balancing stats.

If I got a communicative, supportive, tight team shoulder-to-shoulder, I'm bringin' the big guns so long as they wait for my hulking fuzz-bun.

On games like this I like to ambush stronger foes, weaken them, escape, and let my teammates finish them off. In free-for-all matches I just go berserk.
