Let's beat a dead horse, because this is still an issue and it really needs to be properly addressed. The motivation for players to keep leveling up is deflated completely when they gamble with the fact that their experience might not apply after the game ends.

Edit: To clarify - the experience achieved in a game are applied to your mech at lvl 0, and not to that mech at it's current level. Ultimately no exp is earned.

I've got two level 20 mechs and another at level 10. XP is working. You're doing something wrong. Follow the guidelines above and maybe a pattern can be found.

Are you quitting the match before it's over_
Are you taking into account that XP is not applied until you leave the server_

I lost about 20% of my built up XP for no reason.

Of course I'm not quitting early If you finish a game, and go to the "Progression" tab, sometimes XP is contributed to your mech at it's true current level, and other times, XP is contributed to your mech as if it were at lvl 0. If the latter happens, no XP is gained at all, even after you leave the server.

I'm not going to document this to the guidelines because it doesn't need it. It's a simple to understand and very important issue that needs to be brought up as often as it happens.

same for me, 4 rounds in a row now without any xp.
exp meter counts the mech from level 0 so u dont get any exp!
and ofc not me neither is quitting the match early, ive played 10 matches in a row and the last 4 matches without any exp gain.

My mech is actually lvl 16. Last game I played (after one in pic), the XP went to my last lvl, at 15. Which again, left me in the same spot - no XP gain.

I have also had this happen a few times. and somtimes when I play with my lvl20 it reloads exp...  starting from level 0, the bar grows to 100% then level 2 and so on. although it never get past level4 the map loads ans all is well again.
