Those pilots who tested the game in alpha and beta and want to make a fresh install of the game are going to be subject of having trouble with the installer.

You'll get a "You're not authorized to play this version" message in the launcher.

Repro:

1.- You uninstall and erase all game content.
2.- You download the game installer from http://www.playhawken.com/beta
3.- You install and run the launcher.
4.- You get the forementioned error: "You're not authorized to play this version"

Due that I'm an old cat, I had backup of previous installers. Installing the same installer we ran during CB2 will not cause this issue.

* Maybe this situation is just provisional and they upload a new game installer (free of trouble like this) once the CB3 is up and running.

But I've thought that would be good to report on this.

This happens with every client version in the hours before the next test, really. It's part of the server lockdown prior to everything going live.

Nope, it doesn't work. I have the the CB2 client installed (which is in fact the CB1, as I never did any fresh install since Beta started) and still got the message.
Planetside 2, here I come.

I was referrring to the CB2 installer though..

Just hold on until the CB3 starts. My solution is not required in general terms (at least not for those not running a fresh install from zero.00 ).

Really. My bad. Brazil's daylight saving is the guilty . In CB2 we had a go 1 hour earlier.

The titles ended up being the work of a mod working independently and assigning titles arbitrarily, which isn't fair, so it had to be undone. I was not told which mod was responsible. We appreciate the thoughts, anonymous mod.

Supposedly it's live now, but I'm still getting the not authorized message. ('ve been using the same client since CB1)

This is occurring with me, as well, using the CB1-and-onwards client and launcher. I'm going to try a clean install.
