It's odd that a reinstall is required though. I mean, this was my first install ever of Hawken, and it keeps telling me I need to remove it because it's an old version. Something is going on here that needs to be looked at that's getting lost in the assumption that an old version was already installed.
I've never ran any software in my entire life that the first thing it tells me to do after installing it is to do it over again.
