So I was thinking the other day about the thrusters on mechs and how that kinda could work in the realm of logic. Then I got around to the repair drones, They don't seem to have any form of exterior Propulsion, this makes me wonder how they fly?

 

Maybe a static discharge system with magnets? MAGIC?!

 

Thoughts?

This doesn't apply for the drones but you can hover objects by freezing a magnetic field (how is that possible you ask? How I am supposed to know?).

I suspect their entire frame is nano cavorite and they have RCS thrusters to push them around.
