I would like to take a moment and say thanks to Ashfire and those who work behind the scenes!

 

 

First off, the forums are back! Freaking awesome! Lady Tiggs, CapnJosh, and Ashfire (along with others we don't know about) were up very late last night fix working on the forums, fixing the mech rotation (thanks Ashfire) along with a bazillion other things. 

 

There is still a ways to go, but it is still a start.

Thanks! I have some shoutouts of my own:

• All my coworkers, for successfully migrating Hawken's servers and entire database system to a completely new one in the course of a week!
• All the previous devs, for getting us this far and making Hawken what it is.
• Shadeness, for providing technical assistance and alerting of issues.
• Eyes_Only, for being Hawken's resident grey-hat.
• All the other people that helped with being my eyes and ears when we were running dark.
• The community, for being awesome.

I am officially an official Hawken developer. Only thing that brings me a step down from say Tiggs or Josh is that I'm a consultant rather than a direct employee.

I am not sure how much I should say before he brutally slaughters my new toaster/laptop, but I think he has known the coding long enough to make it his daily torture.
