So yeah it says it in da title XD

but really it would be nice if we could play offline when there is no internet...

Tho I don't know about the syncing... How would we sync to the accounts and all the stats plus mechs ...

That's maybe the problem to solve if this ever gets implemented...

Maybe make everything available?

Maybe make a everything unavailable and create a new ohc system? (Offline hawken credits)

Idk just throwing ideas to the fire XD

Sometimes when i go to places without internet and i get the itch to play Hawken, this would make it viable, also as an offline enthusiast i support this idea.

 

About balance, since it runs locally on the player machine, it would allow the user to grind without being online and playing on a match to earn HC, so perhaps a challenge system for offline players that grant HC if completed, like a second instance of daily bonus would be a nice start.

Meh I don't think gaining stats and money would be a good idea offline tho...

An offline mode would be nice for those of us that have less than stellar ISPs
I would 2nd the thought of only being able to earn anything while online

Just allow map explore mode, nothing else. Hell, allow every mech and every internal etc, just for test driving. Also, don't require a user login if offline is selected, that way no grinding abuse or anything is a possibility. 

 

Although that would be pretty dope, I'd say it probably isn't worth the devs effort, since I'm thinking it would take a lot of work.
