Now, I've been playing for Hawken for a little over a year now, and I think it's high time I made a suggestion dammit!
One little thing I love about Hawken is the ability to name your mechs. It adds a level of creative customization to the game, and what I would love to see implemented would be to see the name of a player's mech after they kill you on the death screen.
The whole idea of naming your mechs is cool, but part of the fun is lost when no one else but you can see the name of your mech that you just killed them with. I think it would be incredibly entertaining to be killed, only to find out that you were killed by the "Flying Spaghetti Monster" or "Bad Mother-Fuzzy-Bunny"
However, the whole aspect of putting swears in the names of mechs could be an issue for those who have weak constitutions, so there could be an option to turn off the mech names in the options menu. Simple, easy and effective. It would be no worse than turning off the profanity filter for the chat.
It would just be a fun addition to the game!
