Like clay I shall mould them, and in the furnace of TPG forge them. 

They will be of iron will and steely morale. 

In worthless armour shall I clad them and with the burstiest guns will they be armed. 

They will be untouched by loss or stomp, no pride will blight them. 

They will have tactics, strategies and cheese so that they may face their foes on even ground. 

And there shall be a voice in the Teamspeak,

Recruiting Status: Inactive

 

The B-Team is a competitive team in Hawken's Proving Grounds league (TPG). Membership is open to any person, regardless of clan status, so long as recruiting is active. We stand apart from the others, not due to skill or team composition, but because we have a very different objective. We are not in it to win it, though winning is an objective. The B-Team stands for improvement, self-betterment through the fires of competition. 

 

I hold that the best way to improve is to throw yourself unceasingly at the best of the best, and face it - TPG is where you find that. This is a team that will lose, over and over again, but will never be beaten. So long as we walk away from a fight having learnt just one thing, we are winning. Our opponents are in the game, but our enemies are ourselves. 

 

I do not recruit on the basis of skill, but rather commitment. I do not need uber1337 milgelords, I want scrubs of iron will and steely hearts. I want pilots who can take a loss, a hundred losses, and keep marching. But in the end, we will improve. I am a merciless taskmaster and I will run you ragged, just ask these few:

BLG.rats

 

The BLG.rats (pronouced Bilge-rats) are a division of the B-Team dedicated to experimental team-comps, Try-Weekly Tournaments and TPG Cups. Expect to see maximum cheese, silly tactics and basically all-around pants-on-head behaviour. Where The B-Team is about single-minded pursuit of improvement, the BLG.rats are more about throwing garbage against the wall and seeing what sticks. Membership is entirely open and based on individual requests. If you want a taste of TPG, look no further.
