The US-E needs a clan, and I'm capable, so here I am.

Going to keep recruitment open, this is mostly a clan so that US-E players will have a place to gather and form teams.

 

A competitive side will be in the works soon, and will be managed within.

 

Rules are simple, Knights of the Black Iron are brothers in arms, we do no fight eachother, be kind to your brethren.

Well there's the casual side of just getting a buddy to go into games with also, then at some point switching over to the more hardcore competitive side of things.

If we're talking about the TPG league, the very end of season 2 is on hold. The average MMR of season 2 is likely somewhere around 2250 or 2300, however the distribution goes from I'd say 1900 to 2900.

As of yet, if you can get a team together, you can play. Just be prepared to get hit hard.
I can say for a fact however, there is currently zero bias against participating at the low end of the spectrum. The league is all about helping players improve through competitive play.

I see...I might be able to participate in the lower end of the spectrum then. highest MMR i've had was around 2200 but I usually hover within 50 points of 2100.

I was thinking of starting to get involved in the clan side of things here for the sense of community and more chances at improvement, though I'm nowhere near the competitive range of things at my current skill level. Hopefully one day I'll have the time and ability to try out the competitive side of Hawken. For now though, I guess I'll join as a casual and see how everything goes.

From the looks of it, this won't be a one team clan. Instead, it seems like it'll become a congregation of multiple different teams/squadrons in addition to a casual side of the clan as well as a tournament / league organizer.

sabrehawk90 is absolutely right. Join the group, add some folks, intro yourself, get ingame with clanbuds. The competitive side will develop later down the line and will likely be two teams of 6.

US east has been dead for me after the server changes. Pretty much all of north america actually. I've never had a problem finding matches until now.
