Hmm, perhaps the old promo code thread should be reestablished?
Not that we have any beyond newrecruit, which last I heard did still work...

Yeah, newrecruit is the only one I can think of.
i can confirm newrecruit works, just used it today
gives three days of bonus xp for anyone wondering

on promo codes in generall:
IMO the game Robocraft* has a good approach to it. The Devs of it give out promo codes quite often for example when the servers had problems or just to celebrate a new patch. They usually give 2x exp and 2x credits earned and last for 24h from activation. The codes are redeemable for a few days and only once per player.
Something similiar would work with hawken quite well and would encourage pilots to play more often
*no advertising was intended
