So yesterday I booted up Hawken for a match of Siege, I was looking at various cosmetics for my Raider mech (which I commonly do), when the match started I just immediately pressed "Launch" without even looking at my mech, assuming that it would select my Raider mech that I was currently looking at. 

 

Then things got odd

 

First thing I noticed was that I had the TOW launcher as my secondary. I was like "WTF?" but I thought that maybe through an update or something they changed the Raider's secondary weapon. I still had the Re-Flak cannon though. 

 

Second thing I noticed was that I was slow as hell...

 

Third thing i noticed was that I had the regenerating turret mode as my ability....the one that the brawler mech has...but I still had the Re-Flak cannon.....so maybe I accidentally got a G-2 Raider mech by accident? I don't own one and it wasn't free (the incinerator is free) soooo....idk

 

Then I remembered that the G2-Raider has its own ability, not the healing turret one....

 

SO WTF WAS I PILOTING????

 

I figured "ok whatever, I'll just play the game, finish it, and then see what mech gets XP in the after match stats"

I died once in the game, came back as a standard Raider mech.

Finished the game

 

 

But no mech other than my standard Raider got XP...as matter of fact it never even shows that I piloted any other mech. The only hint to it was that my "favorite ability" was the turret mode and my "favorite secondary" was the TOW launcher....but my raider got all the XP...

I forgot that this happened to me a while ago.

 

I was customizing my Assault as the game started, and I spawned as my Sharpshooter, but with the SMC.

Sounds like you got a brawler with a reflak swapped in for its primary.

 

The best combo I ever got was a Zerker with a Rev-GL. Frickin' hilarious.

I had this happen too.  Had an assault with incinerator weapons.  Fixed itself after I re spawned but good times good times...
