Well, I agree with what you concluded in the OP. Nothing is inherently more masculine or feminine, it just is. 'Panties' and 'shorts' are really here only to make sure you stay within gender roles and act accordingly... As are comments in these thread that minimize the importance of discussing this topic with "having a job". Wake up, people.

Yeah, I hate it too when people have harmless fun in a specific section of the forums dedicated to off topic discussions.

Having put up with an entire community of dimwitted weeaboos for 5 years, I have an incredibly low tolerance for certain kinds of topics and certain kinds of people. Excuse me whilst I continue being a vocal grumpy "fun"-hating nincompoop and making my displeasure as blatant to all as possible.

 

Seeing an unaligned forum layout every time I look at the board does not help said displeasure in any way shape or form.

If this had been in general discussion I would agree, however this is in off-topic, which means so long it isn`t offensive you can say almost anything.

I had an argument this morning with someone. What is more feminine? Panties or boy shorts?

A better question is, which is more kawaii? Which better interacts with a person and why?

I personally find panties and boy shorts to be of equal femininininity. That is, femininoodlety is simply an illusory social construction and neither is more "feminine" than the other. Additionally, I believe that even under common presumptions of gender association, each ultimately better interacts in synergy with the character of each person, thereby resulting in the observation that what is most important is this so-called synergy.

What are your thoughts?

Its quickly becoming warm/hot in NA. I'd focus on material more than style.  Something that breathes well and doesn't swamp up either front or back.

I'd just like to get laid. It's been a long time. Girls do not hit on guys with oxygen hoses. The day that I got this oxygen hose up my nose was the last time a girl ever hit on me, 3 yrs ago. They don't see you as a man. They see you as that poor guy with a oxygen hose. Now don't get me wrong. I'm not saying every girl on the planet feels that way, I'm there is one somewhere who doesn't. I haven't met her yet. I'm not saying they are doing it to be mean. It is apparently a natural human reaction. Doesn't make it any less sad to me. Plus it doesn't help I don't like girls my own age. They are boring and dress funny. I have always dated younger. Always. My last was 28. I've been married twice. Both ex's had a problem keeping their clothes on if ya get what i mean. I started this post as a joke and then I thought about it and posted this. Not sure why. Just felt like it I guess. Sorry for the derail. OK back to the thread.
