The Brawler was made to Goombastomp. 
I like the turret mode, even though it has limited use in Flak or Vulcan loadout.

So why not keep it but ad an in air functionality to bring the brawler down crashing dealing full chrush damage and bonus damage to A and B mechs. 
Ad a bit of a cooldown to it and any mech on the ground in the area will be stunted as if comming down from a high fall. 
Damage to yourself will be equivalent to max fall damage. The stomp will interrupt airdodges and be mitigated by shock coil.

This will instill the fear that Brawlers Righfully should and deserve.

Not the game, only the Brawler.  If you don't like the association, the ability is not meant to be named "goombastomp" :D
 

Admit it, you would love the feeling of crushing those pesky little mechs under your massive bulk.
Or just shake things up to get another salvo in.

Last thing I would want to see is more additions to this C meta game. They already have the same weapons with around 2.5x more health then A mech's. As long as you hit your opponent with accuracy, you should be able to tank the shots fired at you. Which turtle mech has that the stomp pound thing? I'm not sure, but something that sounds similar to what you are saying is already in the game.

Yes something should be done to brawler ability, a stomp stuff (with incin' animation) could be good, maybe some sort of "interrupt" : Mech within range stop running and highly decrease accuracy for 200ms (or something like that)

lol no love for the brawler. I would however love to see some more detailed reasons for why there are so many nopes. I get the C meta is a thing, but still, Stomps would not be that hard to avoid since you need to be directly beneath the brawler for it to be effective. Just another check on the list of things not to do.
I threw in the aoe interrupt as an added utility because of that. 

I just feel the turret ability underplays the Brawlers Viscious nature and would like to see more RAWR!
Keep in mind that I want to keep the turret ability aswell.. more cake for the Brawler!

Edit: the Incin stomp has been brought up as a counterpoint but this stomp would however be quite different. The AOE would interrupt ground targets. not deal damage. Only the unfortunate soul under the crushing weight of the brawler would receive the pain.

Yep but the wrong one, remove it from the incin' and add a slamstuff to the brawler (which name implies that he deserves it ;-) )

Old devs said that it would take a lot of coding to fix the older mechs due to complicated coding.

The Brawler oughta have something relating to health, close-ranged combat, or fuel considering it's the king in all three of those departments.

What about some crazy ability manuever?  Like the brawler drops its wings and spins like a top to a set point.  It would work like this

1. user designates crazy retreat vector

2. Fight for a bit

3. Arms drop and mech spins violently like a kickass top 50m(I don't know how distance works, maybe 30-70m) in the retreat or assault vector direction.

 

You would need at least 40% fuel and it would use it all.  It would give you 65% damage reduction in supertop mode.  It would not let you fire in top mode and you'd have to wait for guns to pop up like at the end of overheat or emp.  Also you're view would spin around violently as well making you nauseous/ ruining your battlefield awarness for a bit cuz radar would be useless spinning around.
