It's time to see actual ping data by location for the various server locations. This is something we built out because it's raw data and it can help identify what's *really* going on. You'll notice some trends with worldwide internet peering, and you'll see why we would love to have servers in fairly central locations.
In my opinion this data emphasize the need to remove the artificial region bucketing and instead have the matchmaker consider actual client-gameserver ping time; and at the same time get a wide variety of datacenter locations.
