You think you can't experience virtual reality without a Oculus Rift? Well, you can. Your eyes are half as important as your ears in a virtual experience, and everyone with a half decent pair of headphones can hear it. Noise cancellation helps a lot, but it isn't necessary if your room is quiet. It gave me goosebumps the first time I tried it.

- For some reason the audio didn't work for me in 10.6, but it has worked for some other people. I have no clue why that is. But you can try both if you so wish.

Do you really expect proper surround sound in Hawken? xD

 

My expectations for this game are low, very low. It even struggles to provide the basics. It needs a huge amount of time for a very little result, don't expect it to get something incredibly new, you will get disappointed.

I would be impressed if the sound was reflected off the moving platform ~2:30.

 

As it stands my reaction is "Woah! sounds coming from either one headphone or the other or sometimes both at once! The future is here!"
