This idea probely wont work in the game, but I think It would be somewhat neat if during siege matches, once a teams ship has launched, some players could break off from the AA, and somehow teleport into the launched ship, from there, they could add their won firepower to aid in the opposing bases destruction, or they could provide firepower from the air. I think this would be an interesting implement because it adds a new choice that players can make during siege matches, "should I protect the AA, or lend my firepower to destroy the enimes base faster?" 

 

Other ideas I have are weapon ideas, first, maybe add a flamethrower to the game? Or an ice beam? my more elaborated weapon Idea was something similer to samus's wave beam in Metroid Prime, the weapon would work similarly to the heat cannon, but a charged shot would let the fired shot be a homing shot,?

 

Another idea I have is an idea for an ability; the ability would be simeler to the incinerators fire stomp ability; what this ability would do, would turn the mech using the ability into a robot Tesla coil, and any mech that get within a certain proximity of the mech get a constant health drain while within the proximity, so basically, any mech that come within a certain radius of the mech using the ability gets electrocuted. My other ability idea is very similer to the aimbot hack, but it would only last about 5 seconds; the mech with the ability could activate a targeting system, and for 5 seconds, they could lock onto an enemy and concentrate massive firepower without missing a shot.

My final, and in my opinion, best idea, would be a third person mode option. This would look very similer to the 3rd person mode you can access when exploring maps by pressing (TAB), the only difference is that your cross-hairs, and all other essuntalts would still show on screen

No, no no no.  This has been brought up many times in the past as well.

 

I'm sorry, but this is the worst idea.  A 3rd person view would give a huge tactical advantage to anyone using it, forcing everyone to use it, like it or not, if they don't want to play at a large disadvantage.

 

There is a reason why Adhesive had locked down the FOV settings like they did, a few players found a way to make it silly large when repairing, and that alone made them have a noticeable advantage, and that's repairing (AKA can't move or fight back).

IMA SUGGEST THINGS TOO! XD

Lol OK these things are just creative ideas XD
Maps:

Underwater map XD all projectiles and all are slowed, u jump higher and descend slower move slower and more gently, u can hear a lot of far away sounds XD ETC ALL DA UNDER WATER STUFF LOL

zero to no gravity maps this is smimilar to the under water map but different XS projectiles float and are more accurate, u float but there's no water so everything with water is not there XD

Gravity map : opposite of zero gravity here there will be enemys on the ceilings on the wall etc

Night map (this could be a separate map or just the usual map at a night) this could be cool cuz ull have limited vision and ull have to rely on ur radar and team mates to spot enemys XD This is a place where radar scrablers and detectors come in handy XD it's also the home of PREDATORS!!!!! XD

I  don't think the mechs are water tight and sealed. I have a feeling that it would just be everyone drowning on respawn.

Game modes:

A mode where u escort stuff like idk.... Missiles where u bring them to a launching platform (like missile assult) and launch it and just keep doing that XD

umm yeah that's all I hot for game modes

Accessories to maps and gameplay:

Weather changing or environment changes? (Day and night (perfect for night maps XD) rainy and sunny, storms and all that, dust etc all thows stuff ) XD

Maps with more environmental effects/hazards would be nice.

 

Like a marsh with deeper water that slows down the mechs when wadding through it. Gives a nice risk/reward of a shorter path however slower movement and vulnerability.

Yeah XD and like swamp water to hind in a bit but u can risk walking on mines and being ambushed or something plus u can't dash out of it how about that XD

How about a medium tchnical mech? (Maybe with a secondary that can shoot small repairorbs with a alternative mode that shoots orbs damegeing foes)

Ironically, this is one of the suggestions that were given as a change to the current tech shortly after it was first introduced into the game, take the beam away and make it's repair ability more of a skill shot than the leash it has now.

By the way a B-class with the leash would be nice too (tech just dies way too fast)

I frankly like 2 ideas mentioned in this thread.  A night mode and have map effects.  My thoughts on these modes:

 

** Night Mode **

 

Similar to above with the whole radar thing.  However you wouldn't be able to see a mech in the distance unless say their guns were overheating.  You would see the red heat from the gun and identify the opponent.  My only concern with this type of mode it would give the predator and infiltrator an insane advantage with their invisibility cloak.

 

** Map Effects **

 

Ice mode.  When you go boosting and stop boosting you keep sliding.  Same with dodging.  Dodge and go sliding further than you expect.  Would really change how you move and change the dynamics without changing the dynamics.

 

Rain mode.  Visibility becomes really poor except indoors.  When you out somewhere like Bunker, the map becomes really hard to see what is happening on the battle field.  Hahaha - have window wipers for the HUD - Now that would be cool!!.

Its a spam protection setting on the forums. Also it could be that there is a network issue or browser issue. I havent seen your issue in a long time with IPB.

About the night maps idea mentioned futher above how about adding haedlights helping you see foes but also helps them see you

OH OH!!! toggleable headlights that let u see a bit of the surroundings but if dissactivated u cant see anything but ur cockpit, few in map lights, map in ur cockpit, healing orbs, technicians leash,

etc 

 

 

in the night map u ll be able to see glowing red over heatin weapons, another mechs light, and other stuff that produces light. as for the  predators heat vision, it  might be too advantageous but yeah idk i like the idea since the other team can have predators too so yeah ... 

 

in this game u ll have to be VERY cooperative with ur team spoting enemies and stuff and keeping together . in these maps the use of radar scrablers and all thows stuff will be VERY usefull tho disrumptors will be a tiny bit no more lol XD

 

etc 

 

i cant think of anyother stuff atm so pleas brain storm on my ideas or something XD lol
